When your friends call and offer to take you to lunch at Tomasso’s in Trenton, Ontario.(www.tomassos.ca) jump at the chance. Being the area “newbies” we were only slightly familar with Tomasso’s & Jim’s Pizzeria but it turns out not knowing about this incredible restaurant complex was our loss. Consider these facts: begun in the 1950′s, known world wide largely as a result of great food plus deliveries by Canadian Forces Base, Trenton to CFB bases around the globe. From Alert to Haiti, across Europe and into Africa including Croatia, Kosova and Bosnia and throughout Canada, Jim’s Pizzeria at Tomasso’s have sent their famous pizza’s, salads, back ribs and pasta to appreciative customers. Well, as I have long believed a great meal must be followed by awesome desserts and Tomasso’s will not let you down. Consider these delectable mouth tingling morsels: Chocolate Confusion, Chocolate Eruption and New York Skyscraper Mixed Berry Cheesecake. By the way, reservations are strongly recommended.
